My artistic approach
I paint above all to amuse the child in me. My painting is instinctive and intimately linked to chance.
I make a first gesture which sends me an image to which I respond with a succession of new gestures. From there, an interesting dynamic is born brought about by the different elements in the painting.
I am inspired by the beauty of nature through the infinitely small and the infinitely large. This is why my travels and walks are always an inexhaustible source of astonishing discoveries.
I am particularly interested in the emotion created by contrasts of color and light. I like to subtract the idea of representation because I am more moved by the natural rhythm which is created by the juxtaposition of striking colors and movements. I use different mediums including acrylic, watercolor, ink,
bonding and resins. My approach is always closely linked to music.
Today, I try to create tailor-made works (dimensions, style, colors) that will both please me and please observers. I continue my technical research through numerous mediums in order to satisfy my desire for abstraction and colors.
